Al Benner Homes acted as agent for Excel Homes, a Modular home provider in Pennsylvania of quality modular homes .Benner provides a number of different companies' homes, and various levels of quality and cost. Larry Benner walked us through the entire process of selecting the model, all the choices involved in customizing, and setting the four modular units on the owner supplied basement. The modular price does NOT provide the final electrical hookups, plumbing hookups, and basement construction, nor preparation of the land. All of that is done by other contractors to specs supplied by Excel. Benner suggests names of contractors to do this, all of which are excellent.

There is a follow-up within a year to fix any undisclosed or undiscovered problems that might occur within the building itself under a "warranty", offered by Benner itself. And if we preferred, or needed a liaison with Benner's suggested contractors, they would do that as well. Benner WOULD contract for us all of this if we wanted them to, but we contracted directly on our own for whatever reason. Not sure why we did that, but it still worked out well.
